Nick started his career with British Sugar in 1983 and has held a number of engineering and production management roles within the organisation. In 1995 Nick became involved in the establishment of a food ingredients company which signalled the start of a long period of business development involvement, both in the UK and abroad, culminating in the building of the first UK based Bio-ethanol plant.

In 2010 Nick returned to British Sugar
based at the Cantley factory. A career predominantly focused on factory engineering development and production management, with experience in business and people development and continuous improvement.
Nick now holds the role of Operations Development Director for AB Sugar China.
