The architecture is to coexist with the elements and the defining space around it, and not be con-
strained by four walls and a roof. The home needs to do away with conventional boundaries, and open
up the idea of an infinite unity with its surrounds.
This interconnectedness is enhanced by the use of natural materials such as weathered timber and tra-
ditional building methods such as rammed earth that stem from the surrounding landscape.
Our architectural response stems from a deep seated environmental ethic; naked, unadorned, and hon-
est.
