SPEAKERS PROFILE

Mr. Jarmo SUOMISTO
Manager, Helsinki 3D+

Jarmo SUOMISTO is the manager of Helsinki 3D+ and responsible of creating,
maintaining and delivering virtual models over the whole city. 3D+ also integrates
new technology and workflows to processes and city services. 3D+ is 2016 Be
Inspired Award Winner and currently focus of the production is on Helsinki
Energy-Atlas, Masterplan on City Information Model and Smart Kalasatama Digital
Twin.

Working over 25 years with 3D and GIS in building design and city planning Jarmo has
practical understanding of the great potential in 3D. In his free time Jarmo is a jazz
fan, plays saxophone and renovates his early 1900´s villa.

Jarmo is Architect and M.Sc (Civ.Eng) from Helsinki University of Technology.
