Attention Parents and Students,
Thank you for your flexibility and patience as we move to be proactive in our response to the current state
of emergency in our country. It is imperative that not only do we remain calm, but we must also provide
structures to ensure the academic success of our young leaders at Princeton Elementary School. Below you
will find suggested instructional schedules for our students to follow while learning at home. Some of our
teachers sent home packets on Friday, March 13, 2020, and may also post assignments on Class Dojo! We
will not introduce new content. All assignments will serve as a review of state standards and learning
targets that we have covered throughout the school year. During the times of reading, language arts, and
mathematics please follow the guidelines of lessons provided for you via Class DoJo, email, School Websites
etc. Although this work is not required, this is an attempt to keep learning on track, ongoing, and
PRINCETONIANS AT THE TOP!
If your child is having difficulty with an assignment, please send the teacher a message on class dojo for
clarity. Please allow them 48 hours to respond. These are suggested schedules. Always use your discretion
on how and when your child can work on lessons and activities.

In addition, you will receive an invite from me, for a special Grade Level Family Meeting on Class Dojo! I
will have special announcements and surprises for our students! So be sure to check Class Dojo often!

Remember to stay calm, stay aware, and stay safe! I will continue to send updates and messages via Class
Dojo that are in alignment with the Birmingham City Schools Leadership and Communications department.
