Girl, Move The F*ck On!







                              What exactly is a healthy weight? I know when you go to the doctor there is a

                       chart in there somewhere that says if you are this height you should only weigh this


                       much. For a lot of women those numbers just do not add up. On top of that old school


                       chart at the doctor’s office you also have society and social media telling you that you


                       need to be a certain size and weight. So many women have forgotten how to or have

                       never loved themselves because of the number on a scale.




                              Wait, let me back up…. before I move on and go deeper into this topic I want to


                       add the disclaimer that I am not a medical professional. What I am about to get into is


                       only meant for self-reflection and understanding, not to self-diagnose.  I am simply

                       about to state my observation and testimonies that I have personally witnessed. The


                       only true person that knows how healthy you are…. is you.




                              I have a close friend, and for this book (also for the fact that I don’t want to get


                       cursed out after she reads this lol) I’ll call her Jennifer. Jennifer used to get all the boys’


                       attention because of her shape when we were in high school. She always had those

                       “perfect” measurements: 36-24-36. She was 5’7 and slender. Jennifer looked like she


                       could be the captain of the cheerleading squad, but she was never active in anything in


                       school other than lunch. She never worked out or needed to. Jennifer was one of those

                       people who seemed to eat anything and never gain a pound.
