LET’S SPEAK UP!
I did not go into detail with the domestic violence because it is such a
sensitive matter. I cannot think of a single reason why a person should stay
in a relationship where they are being physically assaulted. There are too
many people who are killed daily because of domestic abuse. We must
speak up for those who cannot or are afraid to speak for themselves.
Speak up, you may be saving a life. For those of you that are experiencing
domestic violence know that it is never okay. It doesn’t matter if it’s your
boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife. Too many deaths are the result of
domestic violence, you should leave or report it before it is too late. One
time is one too many.
