with four panels enclosing archaistic scrolls, bats, lotus and Shou
symbols, the box similarly decorated.

DOUBLE-LOZENGE JARDINIÈRE

Finely enamelled around the exterior with rectangular panels depicting
flowering branches of various fruit and flowers, including nandina,
peach, narcissus and prunus, all reserved on a turquoise T-diaper
ground, encased within a gilded frame finely cast with scrollworks and
keyfret, raised on six ruyi feet.
