A PAINTED ENAMEL TRIPOD INCENSE
BURNER AND COVER
19th century
The globular body finely painted with a leafy
meander with floral blossoms, fruits and
butterflies, with shou symbols and lingzhi
sprays, the waisted neck with ruyi-head and
lappet borders, the lid similarly decorated and
with a Buddhist lion finial, all raised on three
cabriole legs with monster masks at the hip.

BOX AND COVER
18th century
The lid enamelled with a central lotus flower
head, encircled with meandering floral motifs
interwoven with archaistic scrolls, with further
bands of ruyi heads at the rim, the box
similarly decorated and with additional lotus
leaf lappets.
