A CANTON ENAMEL CIRCULAR BOX Comprising: a quatre-lobed rectangular tray
AND COVER with two Korean scholars in a garden, with an
19th century inscription, with a T-fret and scrolled meander
The stepped lid enamelled with the Eight border at the short galleried rim, raised on
Buddhist Emblems interspersed with scrolling small bracket feet; a similar tray with ‘The
flowerheads, surrounding a central Double Hundred Antiques’; a rectangular tray with a
Happiness roundel, all on a turquoise blue landscape design; a rectangular tray with a
ground, the box similarly decorated and ‘shou’ symbol pattern; a quatre-lobed tray
raised on a short footrim. with four of the Eight Buddhist Emblems on a
10.7cm (4 1/4in) diam. (2). foliate ground

AND COVER
Circa 1950
The baluster jar with two writhing dragons
amongst clouds and flaming pearls, the
shoulder with a lotus meander border, the lid
formed as a lotus leaf and with sea creatures
below the knop.
