            A mark of a retail silversmith that is not often seen, but when it is found it is highly likely to be a picture frame.






             A  late  19th  century  reticulated
             and  repoussé  picture  frame
             with  a  symmetrical  decorative
             motif  of  two  dragons  within
             stylised  clouds  chasing  the
             single flaming pearl.

             The frame rest on a tripod that
             almost all 19th century Chinese
             silversmiths used.
