HAN TONG CHUN
            Hong Kong
            circa 1880-1920

            Han Tong Chun was an
            artisan manufacturing
            silversmith operating in
            Hong Kong. Generally the
mark is more likely to be
            seen alongside a retail
            silversmith’ s mark.
            However, it is my own
            belief that Han Tong Chun
            made special items for
            Wang Hing & Company as
            well as making and
            supplying single bespoke
            items directly from his
            own workshop.

carry the Han Tong Chun mark; the beakers have a
remarkable similarity to regimental table cigar lighter
with the Wang Hing mark [left] - a bespoke item made
for the Queen’s Royal 1st Battalion Regiment.
