Three  examples  of  Lao  Tian  Li  medals  date  to  1923.  The  two  outer  medals  [on  the  bottom  row  above]  have
            portraits of Tsao Kun, President of the Republic 1923-24 with crossed flags and wreath on the obverse side.

            Lao  Tian  Li  cloisonné  wares  are  rare  today  and  are  highly  collectible  as  indeed  are  the  silver  and  enamel
            medals.
