The reverse side of the vases are relatively plain and are identical,
bearing only engraved shield borders with vacant fields.
The bases are covered in silk and are of identical silk to the lining used
in the original box for the tea set that is next illustrated.
Comparing the style and workmanship with Tian Bao Beijing, this bud
vase [right], apart from the enamel highlighting of the handles, presents
many similarities in style, technique and quality.
