The two beakers [below] are considerably earlier, the left hand beaker being circa 1890 and the other circa 1900.
The older of the two has a superbly executed finely planished ground and an engraved meander border top and
bottom within which an applied raised work dragon swirls. The newer beaker has a quite superb colour and
highly polished silver finish with an equally masterfully accomplished applied dragon.
The 3-piece tea set [below] takes a traditional form and, applied with traditional Chinese scenes within
segmented panels, actually manages to emerge as a tea set that is quite different from most of its contemporary
cousins from other contemporary makers or retail silversmiths.
