This suite comprises a large brooch and
matching pendant earrings; the brooch having
a finely carved ivory central plaque surrounded
by filigree gold work inset with pearls. The
pendants have birds with feathers that hold
smaller framed carved ivory plaques.
Lee Ching is also known to have supplied silver
and commissioned jewellery pieces to the
London jewellers and silversmiths, Hancocks,
who made jewellery and silver items for Queen
Victoria and the aristocracy.
