An extremely rare mark and only one item has ever been documented by John Devereux Kernan. It is also the
only so-called pseudo hallmark to feature a pseudo-English city “anchor” mark for Birmingham, UK. It is even
debatable whether this is a true Chinese/Canton mark since no other Canton silversmith ever used a neo-
Birmingham mark.
