         KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
         The censer is of compressed body raised on three short legs, flanked by a pair of curved,
         upright handles at the neck. The exterior is decorated with taotie masks alternating with
         ruyi-heads below a round of applied gilt-metal bosses.
