A SMALL CLOISONNE ENAMEL VASE
QIANLONG INCISED SIX-CHARACTER MARK ABOVE AN
INVENTORY MARK SHI AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The bottle vase is decorated with stylised lotus scrolls against
a turquoise ground on the lower body below a daisy scroll to
the stepped shoulder. The neck is decorated with two registers
of further flower scrolls between a ruyi-head band and a stiff
leaf band at the rim. The base is incised with the reign mark
and an additional character shi.

blooming lotus sprays. The base is incised with the reign
mark above a single character, ming.
