one hand, the other raised, her robe and headdress elaborately flanked by sword-wielding warriors, within a border of stylized flowers
decorated all over with chrysanthemums, brocade and geometric and foliage floating on Rinpa-style waves, the exterior with a broad
designs in coloured enamels and gilding, unsigned; fixed to a band of clustered naturalistic flowers and stylized leaves above a
circular gold-lacquered wood stand. narrow band of head gear lying among maple branches;
52.5cm (20 5/8in) high. signed Kozan sei (Manufactured by Kozan) within a gilt seal.
