AN UNUSUAL FLAMBÉ-GLAZED AND
ENAMELLED BALUSTER VASE, MEIPING
19th century
The small vase elegantly potted and covered
in a thick transmutation glaze of a violet
hue with lavender and sky-blue streaks, the
three glaze pulls cleverly over-enamelled
with clouds and a scene of Liu Hai on a
cliff; together with a gilt-ground famille rose
globular bottle vase enamelled with a profuse
foliate design with peaches, apocryphal
Qianlong seal mark, 20th century. 19.5cm (7
5/8in) high (2).
