A SILVER WIRE-INLAID BRONZE CENSER
17TH-18TH CENTURY
The bombé body is inlaid in silver wire with two stylized taotie masks
separated by the pair of dragon-loop handles inlaid with simplifed
dragons. A Shisou mark is inlaid in silver wire on the base.
6Ω in. (16.4 cm.) wide across the handles

The K’ung Hsiang-Hsi (Kong Xiangxi, 1881- 1967) Collection,
New York, and thence by descent within the family.
