A SMALL WHITE JADE FIGURE OF A LADY
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The lady is modelled standing slightly swayed to one side, dressed in a
voluminous robe with a sash tied around her shoulders, her left hand
holding a ruyi and her right hand holding a palm fan, her hair tied into
a high chignon and her face with a benign expression. The material is
of an even white tone with concnetrated areas of mottling and russet.
