A YELLOW AND GREEN-ENAMELLED ‘BOYS’ BOWL
Yongzheng six-character mark and of the period
Well potted with deep rounded sides raising to a flaring rim, supported
on a slightly tapering foot, delicately incised with a continuous scene
depicting boys dancing and playing various musical instruments beside
pine trees in a fenced garden, with a lappet border above the foot and
a stylised floral band beneath the rim, all glazed in bright green on a
yellow ground.
