A FAMILLE ROSE SGRAFFIATO LIME-GROUND
VASE
Late Qing Dynasty
Of double-gourd shape rising from a spreading
foot, the globular body decorated with various
blooming flowers including lilies and lotus amidst
leafy, foliate scrolls, all reserved on a sgraffiato lime-
green ground, the waisted neck similarly decorated,
flanked by elephant-head handles, the gilt rim
surrounded by a cloud collar.
