217 Supported on a straight foot, the compressed
206 | BONHAMS globular body brightly enamelled with flowering and
fruiting sprays of prunus and peaches below two
bands of ruyi heads, the neck flanked by a pair of
gilt lion-mask handles suspending loose rings, with
a domed cover surmounted by a lotus bud finial,
with a probably later incised Qianlong four-character
mark, later cover.

A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL TRIPOD INCENSE
BURNER AND A COVER
Qianlong five-character mark and of the period
The censer of slightly compressed globular form
with a waisted neck applied with a gilt band and
two loop handles, the exterior brightly enamelled
with lotus blooms borne on leafy scrolls, all on a
bright turquoise ground, the stepped domed cover
enamelled with a band of stylised flower heads
surmounted by a gilt knop finial.
