DECORATED PORCELAIN PLAQUES
Republic Period
Each enamelled with two martial figures dressed in
flowing robes and armours within a fenced garden
beside stylised rockwork and trees, naturalistically
rendered in different postures holding attributes and
weapons, bordered to each side by an underglaze
blue winged-dragon striding on a dense copper red
ground of cloud scrolls, framed. Each 64.5cm (25
3/8in) x 51.5cm (20 1/8in) (4).
