Finely cast, the figure seated in dhyanasana on a lotus pedestal on a Compare with a larger Tibetan figure of Sakyamuni dated to the 15th
throne supported by pairs of elephants, lions and yaksha, decorated century and illustrated on the cover of Classics of the Forbidden City:
with numerous vajras inset with small turquoise, the separately cast Tibetan Buddhist Sculptures, Beijing, 2009.
