A SMALL WHITE JADE VASE AND COVER
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The vase has a fattened, high-shouldered,
tapering body and a pair of ring-shaped loop
handles fanking the neck. The cover has a hollow,
fower-bud knob. The semi-translucent stone is
of pale greenish-white color.

A SMALL IMPERIALLY-INSCRIBED PALE
GREENISH-WHITE JADE PLAQUE
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The plaque of rectangular form with rounded
corners is incised and gilded on one side with
an imperial poem praising lotus, followed by the
signature chen Yu Minzhong jingshu (respectfully
inscribed by [your] servant Yu Minzhong). The
reverse is incised and gilded with lotus leaves and
blossoms rising from a fower pot on a stand.
