                           A RARE LARGE DOUCAI JARDINIÈRE
                           18TH-19TH CENTURY
                           The deep sides, raised on a pedestal foot encircled by a band of key-fret, are decorated with a wide band of
                           peony meander bearing four large iron-red blossoms amid smaller blossoms shown in profle in yellow and
                           pale aubergine, all above a band of overlapping petals and below the fat, everted rim decorated with peony
                           sprays alternating with bats and peaches within a raised outer edge. A drainage hole is in the base.
                           18 in. (46 cm.) diam.
