          A WUCAI ‘DRAGON AND PHOENIX’ BOWL
          YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE
          AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
          The exterior is decorated with two descending phoenixes between green and
          iron-red dragons pursuing faming pearls amidst fower sprigs, below a band
          of Buddhist emblems alternating with ruyi heads joined by a blue line, and the
          interior with an iron-red dragon leaping after a faming pearl, all within blue
          line borders.
