The vessel is elegantly potted in the form of an archaic bronze censer, covered Gammal Kinesisk Konst, Kiinan Vanhaa Taidetta, Helsinki, 1956, no. 136.
overall with a pale celadon glaze. Two sections on the mouth rim are repaired

A SMALL QINGBAI CARVED GLOBULAR VASE
SONG DYNASTY (960-1279)

宋 青白釉花口瓶

The vase is delicately potted with a wide globular body, rising to a straight
cylindrical neck and a foliate rim, all supported on a short tapered foot. The
body is intricately incised with scrolling foral designs. The vase is covered in a
pale greenish-blue glaze, thinning to white at the extremities.
