     A CRACKLE-GLAZED VASE, HU
     QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK IN UNDERGLAZE-BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD
     (1736-1795)

     清乾隆 仿官釉貫耳方壺 六字篆書款

     The vase has a wide body that tapers towards the quatrefoil mouth rim, and is moulded on each side with
     peach-shaped cartouches. A lug handle is applied to either side of the neck. The vase is covered overall
     with a creamy-green glaze sufused with a fne pattern of clear and light brown crackle which continues on
     the base.
