                     A PAIR OF POTTERY BOTTLE VASES
                     19TH CENTURY

                     清十九世紀 陶瓶一對「欽州官窯」四字篆書款

                     Each vase is of squat form, the compressed bodies rising to a tapering
                     cylindrical neck, supported by short tapering feet. The glaze is of a rich
                     brown tone with some darker areas. The bases have impressed four-
                     character marks reading qin zhou guan yao.

                     A FAUX BOIS BRUSH POT
                     QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON-RED
                     AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)

                     清乾隆 仿木釉樹形筆筒 礬紅四字篆書款

                     The brush pot is naturalistically moulded in open work as a tree trunk,
                     and exquisitely enamelled to the interior in shades of brown to simulate
                     a knotted wood grain. The interior and base are glazed turquoise.
