           gentleman enjoying a book whilst strolling beside a river, and a lone   dated to the Kangxi period, from the Salting Bequest and now in the
           scholar crossing a bridge, all within a remote and rocky landscape   Victoria and Albert Museum, reference C.1028-1910.
           punctuated by towering pines, two cranes in flight beside the moon.
