The first set on three feet, in the form of a
lotus flowerhead, decorated with panels of
dragons, the neck and cover with auspicious
emblems and the Three Friends of Winter;
the second with a central inscribed roundel,
on a ground of a continuous river landscape
scene, both signed. The largest 27cm
(10.5/8in) high. (2).

By Hozan, Meiji Period
Painted with the Seven Gods of Fortune,
within dense flowerhead borders, signed
Dai Nihon Satsumayakki Hozan tsukuru; and
a pair of cylindrical jarlets, decorated with
quail on riverbanks amongst wild flowers and
grasses, impressed signatures Kinkozan zo.
