A SILK EMBROIDERED ‘COCKEREL’ Provenance: According to family history,
PANEL which is supported by family records
19th century illustrating the progress of British troops in

A LARGE ‘DRAGON’ ALTAR FRONTAL flaming pearl, amongst cloud scrolls, Daoist
emblems and crashing waves above lishui,
Late Qing Dynasty framed and glazed.
Woven on each side in gold and coloured 85.5cm x 44cm (33.3/4in x 17.3/8in).
thread with a writhing dragon in pursuit of the
flaming pearl amongst clouds to the upper
register, above twelve vertical ‘dragon panels’ £800 - 1,200
