           Comprising: distemper on cloth, a black-
           ground thangka of Magzor Gyalmo picked
           out in gilt, 53.5cm (21in) x 39.5cm (15
           3/8in); distemper on cloth, a red-ground
           portrait of a lama wearing a pandita hat, all
           outlined in gilt, 68cm (26 3/4in) x 47.5cm (18
           5/8in); and distemper on silk, a red-black
           ground thangka of seated Amitayus, with
           gilt outlines, 61.5cm (24 1/8in) x 44.5cm (17
           1/2in) (3).

           A MANDALA OF WHITE TARA
           18th century
           Distemper on cloth; the central deity with her
           right hand in the gesture of generosity whilst
           holding a ghanta, the left holding a vajra,
           surrounded by eight emanations, with twelve
           seated monks to the exterior of the Mandala.
