bearing an Arabic inscription; the second of
compressed form with tall cylindrical neck,
inlaid in silver wire with ruyi and cloud motifs.

The first bottle vase cast with bejewelled
swag motifs, flanked with small elephant
head handles, raised on a further three
elephant head-form feet; the vessel modelled
after an archaic ritual bronze, ding, and
with ruyi-head and key-fret decoration at
the border; the enamelled vessel with three
lobed feet, with a flower head meander to the
exterior. The largest: 20cm (7 7/8in) high (3).

scholar and boy attendant amongst bamboo,
pine and rockwork; a bottle vase with playful
Buddhist lions; and a miniature incense
burner, apocryphal Xuande six-character
