through blossoming flowers, wood stand; a carving of two seated
musicians playing a flute and a zither, wood stand; and a carving of
Shoulao surrounded with bats, cash motifs, deer and peaches.

A LARGE CARVED JADEITE ‘LOTUS LEAF AND CRABS’
BRUSH WASHER
20th century
The variegated stone with pale green, apple green and lavender
tones, deeply carved as a curled lotus leaf with two vying crabs to
the centre, with further lotus flowers and pods carved in high relief to
the exterior.
