The eight-sided tapering vessel moulded with
the ba gua and highlighted in gilt, between
bands of T-fret and key-fret at the mouth and
flaring foot.

Of flaring form with counter sunk unglazed
feet, each with a continuous scene depicting
two seated scholars in a pavilion garden, one
reclining against a bundle of scrolls, a boy in
attendance, the interior with an apocryphal
Yongle four-character mark within bands
of flowerheads on whorl pattern grounds.
