The steeply curved sides rising from a short
foot, decorated around the exterior with
striding five-clawed dragons amidst wispy
clouds, all beneath a diaper-pattern band,
the cover similarly decorated with further
dragons, two wood stands. 24.9cm (9 3/4in)
long. (4).

Brightly enamelled with three figural scenes,
the first around the trumpet neck with two
attendants presenting gifts of promotion to
a court official, with an unusual European
armorial device hidden in the background,
the bulging mid-section with boys at play, the
flaring foot with two scholars conversing in a
terraced garden. 47cm (18 1/2in) high
