AN ENAMELED PORCELAIN POUCH-FORM SNUFF BOTTLE
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1770-1850
Molded in the form of a small pouch or purse with angular loops
fanking the neck, each side is decorated in green, aubergine, black
and white with a fve-clawed dragon chasing a faming pearl amidst
clouds and fames against a pale yellow ground.

A CARVED RED GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
IMPERIAL, PALACE WORKSHOPS, BEIJING, 1720-1780
The bottle is carved on either side with a roundel, one with a hawk
perched on a rock emerging from waves, the other with the moon
rising from waves with a bat fying above, all set between mask and
ring handles on the shoulders.
