The recumbent tiger is carved with its tail curled upwards and its 金華堂舊藏,1998年購於台北

For a similar jade carving of a tiger in the same pose, compare to the
example excavated from the tomb of the Shang queen Fu Hao at Yinxu,
Anyang, Henan province, illustrated in Yinxu Fuhao mui (The Jades from
the tomb of Fu Hao at Yinxu), Beijing, 1980, pl. 135, no. 1 (406).
