A RARE HUANGHUALI WAISTLESS CORNER-LEG
RECTANGULAR STOOL, CHANGFANGDENG
16TH-17TH CENTURY
The soft mat seat is set within a thick rectangular
frame with beaded edge, above plain aprons and
spandrels. The legs are of rounded-square section
joined by rounded-square stretchers on the long
sides, and pairs of rounded stretchers on the
narrow sides.
