A TIELIMU FOLDING STOOL, JIAOWU
17TH-18TH CENTURY

The top members are carved in imitation
of a rolled textile and are joined by the
woven seat. The legs are of rounded
section joined in the center, and are set
into the base stretcher. Those on one side
fank the footrest, which is set above a
plain, shaped apron.
