A PAIR OF LARGE JICHIMU AND NANMU
TAPERED CABINETS, YUANJIAOGUI
18TH CENTURY
The protruding top frame is encircled by a
bow-string band repeated on the legs and
door frames, which enclose single jichimu
panels. The doors are ftted fush around a
removable center stile and open to reveal the
shelved interior with two drawers. There is
a plain horizontal panel at the front above
plain, beaded aprons and spandrels, which
are repeated below the nanmu side panels.
