A SANCAI-GLAZED POTTERY TRIPOD CENSER
TANG DYNASTY (AD 618-907)
The censer is of bulbous form and is raised on
three paw feet. It is resist-decorated around the
body with forets reserved on a green ground
above a band of amber glaze which trails down
to reveal the buff ware below.
