The monkey seated with legs outstretched, Ise Province, late 18th/early 19th century The rooster seated on the circular drum, its
bending over with a concentrated expression, Sitting side-by-side on an awabi (abalone) head turned to the left, preening its wing, the
picking at one leg with both hands, the shell, the large octopus encircling the monkey sides of the drum carved with a woodgrain
slightly worn wood with a good patina, the with its tentacles, the monkey baring its teeth, effect, the eyes and drum studs inlaid; signed
eyes double inlaid; signed in an oval reserve the slightly worn wood with a good patina, in an oval reserve Masakazu.
Ikkan. 3.4cm (1 5/16in). the eyes inlaid; signed Minko with a kao. 3.5cm (1 3/8in).
