By Tametaka, Nagoya, early 19th century
The dog lying down, its head turned to the left with a bemused
expression, its tail fanning out over its back, strands of shaggy hair
falling into its eyes, its legs drawn in for compactness, the eyes double
inlaid; signed in a raised oval reserve Tametaka.
