A double-sided six-panel folding screen, one side, ink and colour on
silver paper with autumn plants and flowers including kikyo (Chinese
bellflowers), shukaido (hardy begonia), hagi (bush clovers) and hageito
(Joseph’s coat), the reverse, in ink on gold paper with a monkey
trainer and his performing pet entertaining a group of Chinese figures;
unsigned. Overall: 279.6cm x 137.7cm (110 1/8in x 54¼in);
image: 184cm x 134cm (72 7/16in x 52¾in).
